The sun is out more, and the weather high is also getting higher. With just 16 days, as of now, till Spring commences; I think it’s a great time to look at the trends that’s were seen from the designer for these seasons. Here are 5 notable trends I descried from across the runways.
Plaid Paradise
Comme Des Garçon, Chanel, Fendi, Versace
From Window Pane, Checkered and The Glen, plaids are having a moment this upcoming season. Forget saving your plaids for the Autumnal season, bring them out this spring and summer to add an extra touch to your look. You can dress up your plaids like pictures above. Or you can always dress them down and just be comfy. Plaid shirt, grey sweats, and your slides; perfect chill outfit.
Black is back
Balenciaga, Versace, Fendi
Unbeknownst to the public, black had taken a short hiatus. Not saying that it was absent from the runways previous years, but it was outnumbered by the number of garments that were created with bright bold colors. This Spring and Summer it is making a comeback as various fashion designers had many all black looks. For the all black lovers, it’s your time to shine.
Barely There
Fendi, Versace, Gucci, Ludovic de Saint Sernin
What’s better than clothes for warm weather? Nothing! Literally! If you wanna be trendy this summer try wearing some garments made from see through material; mesh, nylon, silk, etc. A look that’ll make you cool, and keep you fresh. (Get it? Sorry I’m lame. Lol.)
Cut-Outs
Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Gucci, Fendi
Maybe you wanna try out the barely there look but are a little shy. The cut out style can be a gateway into feeling more comfortable to show skin. As my boss would comment on my ripped jeans or any clothing with holes in it, this clothes comes with built in ventilation.
The Patterned Suit
GMBH, Off-White, Gucci, Louis Vuitton
This coming season step out to show out. Whether you wanna wear a singular matching patterned outfit or a mismatch of patterns and designs; now is the time. Furthermore, from the examples above and from other observations; when choosing a patterned suit choose a looser fit pant, while keeping the blazer at a more tailored and fitted style.
