Now being someone who uses social media almost everyday for most part of the day (not proud), I have come across a lot of post with zodiac signs. It’s just the basic zodiac sign and people explains their encounters with a sign or a meme with how each sign is. Although most of these post just talk about your sun sign there’s more. It does get confusing when you wanna know more in depth about yourself like what is your rising sign and how that affects you or what sign rules you’re Venus. Here I will give you a sorta speedy course through what all those things you heard about the zodiac are and there meaning. I also don’t go fully in depth and only say the basic meaning, because people may have different planets in different placements, so something that applies to me would not apply to you.
Even if you can’t fully connect with what all of your sign says, you will always find one part that will make you think “of that’s not me, I don’t know what is!”
Sun sign
Everyone at least knows their sun sign when it comes to the zodiac. This is the sign that shows what date you are born. If you do not know you can google your birthday and put zodiac and it will pop up. Your sun sign helps determine your identity in life. A “role” per se. It’s the core of who you are.
Moon Sign
Your moon sign is a bit trickier to find out. You can use google for this as well. I found mine by using an app called Time Passages. You will not only need your time of birth, but location as well. This is used to see where the moon was in the sky at your time of birth. (This information is also used for the rest of the things like rising and planets like Venus, Mars, Jupiter, etc.)
The moon rules your emotions, moods, and feelings. This is likely the sign you most think of yourself as, since it reflects your personality when you’re alone or deeply comfortable.
Rising Sign
Your rising sign is the way you present yourself towards people. It can be seen in your personal style and how you come off to people when you first meet.
Mercury 
Mercury determines how you communicate, talk, think, and process information. It also indicates how you learn. It is the mind’s planet.
Venus
Venus determines how and what you love. It indicates how you express affection and the qualities you’re attracted to.
Jupiter
One of the two social planets, Jupiter rules idealism, optimism, and expansion. It’s also very philosophical.
Saturn
The other social planet, Saturn rules responsibility, restrictions, limits, boundaries, fears, and self-discipline.
Uranus
Uranus stays in each sign for seven years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules innovation, rebellion, and progress.
Neptune
Neptune stays in each sign for around fourteen years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules dreams, imagination, and the unconscious.
Pluto
Pluto stays in each sign for up to thirty years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules power, intensity, obsession, and control.
