Favorite Yoga Sessions

Over the years my love for yoga has grown exponentially. It has helped me in various aspects of my life, not only physically. Now I try and practice at least once a day, twice if I’m feeing extra spicy lol. But this is not something that just came at once, it is definitely that becomes a habit after a while.

Nevertheless, yoga is an activity that I am always recommending to everyone. Specifically the yoga sessions in the Nike Training Club App. I have been using this app since 2018. So going into almost a five year use. While the app has various workouts and activities that you can do on the platform I while be focusing on the yoga sessions that area available on there.

According to the app it says there is 97 yoga workouts. These not only have various difficulty ranges, as well as time lengths and even purposes like: Yoga for when you’re pregnant, on you’re period, when you run. I have done 53 out of the 97 workouts(this can be found because on he side it leaves a check mark after you’ve done one of the sessions once. I however, have done the workouts more than 53 times and not all of them, some more than others. With that in mind, I come writing this to name a couple of my favorite yoga sessions; morning, night and feel good; that will be linked. So continue reading to find out more.


Favorite Morning Yoga Sessions

-Rise & Flow Yoga

Duration: 15 minutes

Level: Beginner

Rise & Flow Yoga on the Nike Training App

This is a great quick and impactful yoga session. With it only being 15 minutes it can definitely be squeezed in to your daily routine. After finishing this you will feel nice and awake and ready to conquer thee day. Great work on the spine which I love and all over body stretching in general. However, if you do want to add this to your daily routine I’d recommend doing this before showering, as you may break a lil sweat. In the workout you do a lot of breathing to help heat the body from the inside out, aka dragons breath, so you do end up getting pretty warm. That with the holding of movements. Not saying it’s going to be a totally sweaty mess, but you will be wiping some sweat. But it makes you feel totally good and you start to understand why people workout in the morning. Plus that THEN showering, your body will thank you!

-Morning Grounding Flow

Duration: 32 minutes

Level: Intermediate

If you have more time in your morning this is another yoga session I recommend. Again great work on the upper body like arms and chest, but overall great all over body stretching and opening. However, this one is an intermediate level, as the poses are more advanced in the sense you do more balancing poses and deeper stretches. You will definitely be sweating after this yoga session, so again shower AFTER doing yoga. But overall an awesome way to start the morning. I understand why people like to workout in the morning and this is a baby version of that. Lol


Favorite Night Time Yoga Sessions

Wind-Down Yoga Flow

Duration: 16 minutes

Level: Beginner

Wind-Down Yoga Flow on the Nike Training App

This is a great little yoga session to do right before bed. Nice and relaxing and slow moving, so you won’t break a sweat and just relax. This again, can be easily added to your night time routine. And if you don’t have a night time routine, this would a great way to start having one with it only being 15 minutes long.

30-Min Yoga: Evening Wind-Down

Duration: 30 minutes

Level: Beginner

Would highly suggest trying this if you have time during your evening. With it being longer, the stretches are held for longer therefore getting deeper and feeling more relaxed after. I swear during the wind down of this one you will be falling asleep and then will only realize you were doing yoga when you hear the instructors voice speaking again. Add a nice relaxing candle to this… yeah… you’re night is set!


Feel Good Yoga Sessions

Confidence-Boosting Flow

Duration: 35 minutes

Level: Intermediate

Confidence-Boosting Flow on the Nike Training App

This is a great yoga session not only because of the workout, but also the whole ambiance with it being in nature and all. If you do it outside it definitely adds to the whole vibe and makes the yoga session better. The words from the instructor also are really great. All that combined makes this a great session to do on an off day in your yard or at the park. You will feel great after finishing this session, so highly suggest. You will definitely break a sweat doing this session, so do this at the start of your off day to give you that lil workout before starting a productive day.

25-Min Yoga: Breathe & Flow

Duration: 25 Minutes

Level: Beginner

25-Min Yoga: Breathe & Flow on the Nike Training App

This is a yoga session that is a combination of meditative style so it is super chill. Nice and relaxing, great all over body stretches. Again would highly recommend this to start off a day off or even your work day to just being your day focused and zen. No breaking of sweats, just calm and relaxing poses and breathing.
