While I would usually make this post in early spring to have a spring summer looks. I am a bit late, but just in time for the summer. With warm wether having it’s steady flow into our everyday life. Now is the perfect time for new clothing for the season. You are in luck because in this post I will write about trends that is saw across the catwalk for Spring/Summer 2022. They have a wide array that is sure to match any style you have.
Comfortable chic
This style/trend consists of just a nice basics. A nice plain chino or a pair of jeans. A plain t-shirt, maybe a sweater (depending the weather) and some sneakers. While you may think that this is just a a regular outfit, it is not. Well the execution shouldn’t be. While it is a basic outfit, you would stand out because you look well put together, comfortable and chic. This could also just be a nice outfit you wear when you are going to do some small errands or going to meet a friend.
Nevertheless, I think that this is something that everyone can try out. Especially if you are someone, who is trying to find their fashion style or trying to experiment with aesthetics, starting out with nice, comfortable basics can lead to your style.
Sporty Chic
Across shows, many designer took inspiration from sports and applied it to their designs. From Jerseys to Jackets, the runway finally made it to the field. I think that this trend is great for the spring/summer. The materials that jerseys are made of; are usually lightweight. Like those of soccer, basketball or baseball. It is also a great way to have a comfortable look with a twist. You can always make the sporty item the center piece of your outfit. Varsity Jackets were also shown and I think those can be great fro chilly spring nights, and maybe even the summer ones.
COLOR
Color these seasons are in. From bold and bright, to subtle and subdued, color is in. I think you can take the color route at your own taste. You can match it to you or personality or you can use it as. An opportunity to try something different. If you want to stand out and be seen more wear a bright color. However, if you are someone who doesn’t like attention as much, but still want to partake in the trend wearing a a pastel shade or even a subdued shade would do as well, as seen on runways.
Prints and Patterns
Designers had fun for the spring and summer season when using prints and patterns. This is another trend that everyone could easily try out.
There are various interpretations of this; some being run of the mill prints like stripes in various colors, while others are more loud and out there with their patterns. Again, this is a personal choice of how you feel or what you like.
Hopefully with this post, you find something new that will inspire you to switch up your look for this summer. I think that these trends are very easy for anyone that wants to branch their style out.
