We’re officially more than half way through the year. LIKE WHAT ???? Time may not exist… idk…
ANYWAYS, in this post, I’ll be recommending some of my favorite albums, EP and playlists that I’ve listened through throughout the first half of the year. These will surely help you celebrate summer and help you get through it in these tough times.
EP Recommendations

Deep Joy by Jax Jones
WHEN I TELL YOU BANGER AFTER BANGER. This was a great EP. This EP gives me summer vibes because you just want to keep dancing and not stop. Although this EP is only 4 songs long, you will surely put it on repeat and be able to listen to it for hours. Recommend if you like to have fun. The title track “Feels”… yeah that was a cultural reset. The beat is so intoxicating and irrefutably good.
Favorite Track: Feels

Taste of Love by Twice
Right from the first track, Alcohol Free; being the lead single as well, you feel summer exude . The tropical vibes really help set up the mood for a hot sunny summer day. And the other songs on here go great with this summer care free concept. This 6 song EP is full of fun and upbeat songs that are great for summer fun. Some have a retro feel like Baby Blue Love while others have a more contemporary sound like First Time.
Favorite Track: Alcohol Free

Summer Queen – EP by Brave Girls
This is another great EP for summer because of the upbeat music in it. You just imagine yourself listening to this on a hot day while tanning. It has upbeat summer songs like Chi Mat Ba Ram and Pool Party. But it has also some chill summer songs like Summer by myself. That songs gives a little late night tunes listening with an 80’s inspired beat that gives a perfect soundtrack for a summer spent by yourself.
Favorite Track: Summer By Myself
Album Recommendations

VICE VERSA by Rauw Alejandro
This album is full of tunes! Every song has a different feel and sound to it. This is a great album for the summer because you will want to keep dancing and vibing all night. With 14 tracks on the album you will surely find a song that fits your style and have a favorite. Some standout tracks from this album are Cosa Guapa, La Old Skul, and Aquel Nap ZzZz. Just from these three tracks you see the range of sound that Rauw covers. While they are the same genre they definitely all have a distinct sound that makes the music even better because all songs have their own flare.
Favorite Track: Desenfocao’

lately I feel EVERYTHING by WILLOW
This is one of WILLOW‘s best albums. You have songs that make you feel good like G R O W., which talks about well growing as a person and becoming the best version of yourself. But you also have short tracks like F**K You, where you can let loose and really let someone know how you feel. This album is really about expressing yourself and letting your emotions be heard. This is all the angst that you’ve been looking for and needing in your life. And who else to deliver it than WILLOW with her strong and dreamy vocals.
Favorite Track: Gaslight

Nubes by Policias y Ladrones
I have recommend albums that range from dance music to kpop to reggaetón to pop punk, and for my final album suggestion I give you a Spanish alternative album. I am obsessed with this type of sound and I’m happy I finally found a band that’s in Spanish that had this sound. It gives you a dreamy vibe when listening to. Everything is soft and light and you feel like everything that you’re doing is being done for a reason. This is a type of album where you can play it while going on a walk on a nice sunny summer day with no worries in the world. This is music to romanticize your life to.
