If you love binge-able tv shows you will fall in love with this shows. It has everything you would want in a tv show. It has drama, action, crime all being controlled or “handled” by the great Olivia Pope. Moreover, it’s very interesting as it shows a line of work that many people may not know of and shows how cut throat politics can really be. Furthermore, it has a diverse cast with may different people from different backgrounds on the show.
Characters
Although there is an array of characters there is only a handful that stay throughout the entirety of the shows run. They can all be pictured here. From left to right the characters are: Mellie Grant, Abby Whelan, Cyrus Beene, Fitzgerald Grant, Olivia Pope, Jake Ballard, David Rodsen, Quin Perkins and Huck.
“Handled”
A famous word that Olivia Pope always states to her clients when they come for help. See, Ms. Popes job is to fix people’s problems. From Clearing people’s name from crimes they did not commit, to even cleaning up crime scenes for others. Her client list is all rich, high profile people from governors, to Millionaires. Anybody who can pay the price can get her help. She always gets the job done right. Her line of work also sheds a light on how cut throat politics can be as in the tv show, you can see what people are willing to do just to find some dirt on their opponents.
This show has a lot of drama multiple love triangles, kidnapping, illegal tampering with evidence, etc, etc. This show has ALL the drama in it. If you like a show where you will be gagged and left on your toes this show is for you. It also has action, from car being blown up, to assassination attempts. This show has its good amount of action for a drama series.
The show also has a good amount of story telling, while having a main character but also giving inside on the other characters lives as well. You get to know each character, how they feel, and why they feel the way they do. They aren’t just supporting characters but they are a main point in the story telling. I liked this about this show because in most shows you never get to know about the supporting cast but in this show you do, you see them in their house doing their daily routines and learn about their life as-well.
