Earlier today Versace released their 2019 Fall Menswear collection. In this post I will talk about the trends I saw throughout the show and the looks.

Trends

1. Oversized Clothing

Something seen throughout the show was oversized clothing. I think that this is a trend that will be lasting for a while. It was also seen in the Versace S/S 2019 and other designer shows as well. This again is a great trend I like. Not only is it stylish, it is comfortable.

.2 The Color Black

Another trend that was seen through the Versace runway was the color black. From wearing head to toe black to having staple black pieces as part of the look. This color is very prevalent in the show. Although, I am not the biggest fan of this color (it’s too dark for my taste, I prefer a navy blue) I will try to include this as a part of my wardrobe for the coming fall.

3. Pops of Color

To contrast the all the dark colors used looks Versace had down the runway, they added pops of colors to clothing. I like this trend because it adds a twist to your outfit. It can make a plain outfit to a better looking outfit just by adding a statement piece that will make the look your wearing stand out.

4. Bright Colors and Patterns

Bright colors and bold prints were something shown in the show as well. Although, not shown as much as it’s more darker, subdued counterparts on the runway. There were still a good amount of bold patterns and colors in the show. This is another trend that I would want to try out for this 2019. Like in its 2019 S/S collection they also included mostly bold colors, this collection adds more prints and colors (not as bright as its highlighter colored looks). This collection, in my opinion, has a better taste than their collection for the previous seasons of 2019.

5. Shorts/ Short Clothing

Yes, shorts in the fall. I am a fan of this trend because I love wearing shorts. I wear shorts all the time at my house. They make this a nice look by adding a blazer or a jacket (like in other looks) over the shorts. This can either go really good or really bad. If you wanna try this make sure you have short shorts like the ones in the picture to make a contrast against the blazer. Also have the shorts be of some cool texture or color to really make that the statement piece in your outfit. Or if you are into wearing dresses, because anyone can wear them; Short dresses are going to be in trend as well for the 2019.

All in all, for 2019 this fall collection is my favorite thus far. The color palettes and schemes are wonderful, the textures and prints are amazing per usual. These are some of my favorite trends for the coming Autumnal season. Let me know what’s yours. 🙂
