Great Fruit Infused Water

Everybody needs to drink water. It is good for your health and as many great benefits like: clear skin, weight loss, etc. Sometimes you can get tired because well, water really has no flavor; although all water does NOT taste the same. What I do to add a twist to water is add fruits to it. Here I will show three of my favorite types of fruit infused waters I like a lot at the moment.

  • Lime Water

This water tastes great. Its not only a good way to to drink water it also helps with detoxing the body. Some other benefits it has is it aids digestion, promotes healthy skin, improves inmune system, etc. This water can be done by getting one lime, cutting it up and adding it to 16 oz of water. In my opinion, for every 16 oz, you should add a lime. So if you wanted to drink a gallon of lime water (because a gallon of water a day is recommended) you would need to cut 8 limes. You can add a bit of sweetness by adding flax seeds with chia seeds blend (this can be added to all the waters.

  • Blueberry Orange water

This water has a great taste and adds a tropical twist to water. The benefits of this water is that it flushes out toxins, boosts immune system, have antioxidants, etc. This water can be done by cutting up one orange into wedges and adding a handful of frozen blueberries to 16 oz of water. You can also add chia and flax seeds to this to help your digestive system. Again the same rules, in my eyes, apply for the amounts. For every 16 oz, add one orange and a handful, so for a gallon 8 oranges and 8 handfuls of blueberries.

  • Cucumber Water

This type of water is great because cucumber water helps with weight loss, good skin, healthy bones, etc. It also has a great fresh taste to it as well. If you want you can add one lemon to you 16 oz of water to add even more benefits and flavor. You can do this by adding 1/4 of a cucumber or even less depending on the length. It would be easier, with cucumber, to make a whole pitcher of water that would probably be a gallon and add a whole cucumber to that. And again add chia and mulled flax seeds to it.

For all of these recipes I add chia seeds and flax seeds because those two have great benefits that can be good for you like high in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, contain quality protein, etc, etc.

Hopefully you get to try them out and enjoy them as much as I do.
