Around last week I went to the grocery store one day after work because I was running low on chamomile tea. In the tea section I found the tea that I was looking for and decided to try out a new tea. I was actually overwhelmed by the amount of teas that were there. So I settled on getting the Peach Oolong tea since I have tried the Starbucks Peach Iced Tea.
I ended up going online to see what information I could gather about this tea. To my surprise I found a lot of information that showed many benefits. Ranging from weight loss to skin care.
Weight Loss

According to Healthline, “Scientists believe that some of the polyphenols in oolong tea may boost metabolism and decrease the amount of fat absorbed from your diet. These polyphenol antioxidants are also thought to activate enzymes that help you use stored fat for energy.” If you combine this with a healthy diet and regular exercise you could see results faster and stay longer and get better.
Healthy Bones and Teeth

According to The Republic of Tea, “These benefits are primarily linked to the antioxidant flavonoids found in oolong tea. These same compounds are also believed to help keep your teeth and bones healthy and strong, by maintaining bone mineral density, preventing plaque buildup, and minimizing the risk of tooth decay.”
Healthy Skin

According to Life Hack, “Eczema often occurs in conjunction with allergies or sensitivities. Oolong tea is able to suppress those allergic reactions because it combats free radicals, which is a healing property of an antioxidant. Also, the antioxidants found in oolong are essential for vibrant, youthful skin. Drinking oolong can greatly slow down the aging process, so it’s a great anti-aging tool.”
Heart Disease

According to Medical News Today, reader here’s have found that “people who drank at least 10 ounces of oolong tea per week had lower risks of having high total cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL or “bad” cholesterol levels.” This is just with one cup of ten ounces a week, the benefits probably are better when consumed regularly.
Hopefully, you found out some new interesting information that can benefit you. Try out this tea and let me know what you think. What’s your favorite tea?
