This show gets you hooked from start to end. Once you see the first episode you get sucked in to all the crazy things that happened. Now the title is not far from the plot of this show. A lot of the characters do or at least try to get away with murder. But not only is the action good, but the character relationships and the diversity is good as well. This is definitely a show I would recommend many people watching.
Breaks Stereotypes
This show breaks stereotypes. It does this by having the lead be a female and not only that but a African American woman at that. Not only is she a lead, she is a strong lead. Her character is also in a position where she is always being challenged not only in her career life, but personal life as well. Not only this but it breaks other stereotypes of woman having positions of power because throughout the series there is a lot of woman who have jobs that are high ranked. I believe, that we needed a show with this type of representation because it can give the viewers an idea that woman can also be held at higher positions and it’s acceptable now in our society.
Diversity
This show also does a great way in showing diversity with all of its cast. A lot of the main characters are from different backgrounds and are all not white. There is African Americans, Latinx, Asian and many more people represented in the show. Not only this, but it shows the characters and being from diverse backgrounds from coming from a humble working class family to being a rich kid who’s parents pay for everything, this show covers it so many people could connect and relate to the show. I think this is important for a show to have this, like I stated before, it shows how the show is current and shows that anybody no matter their backgrounds they can also be lawyers or at least go to law school too. It also shows diversity by having multiple characters be of the LGBTQ+ that have different ethnicities.
You never really know what’s going to happen
If anything, this show is not boring, least to say. Every episode you are left wanting to know what’s gonna happen next and how it’s gonna happen. The way this show is made is by showing what happens at the end first, and then each episode it adds to the puzzle of how and why certain things happened to lead you to the shocking thing you saw in the first episode. I like this type of format in shows or movies because you few like a detective piecing together what is happening and going on.
Also there is so much DRAMA. From relationships to career moves, this show has a plentiful array of drama that all the characters deal with on each episode. You never know what is going on either. There is always a plot twist once you think you know what’s going on. It’s an unpredictable show and I love it. This leaves the audience wanting to know more.
All in all, this is a great show to watch and highly recommend it to everybody to watch. It has characters you can relate and sympathize with. It has moments that leave you with your jaw dropped and it has four seasons currently on Netflix. So if you like to binge watch shows, this show is binge worthy.
